EGA BACKGAMMON
This document is not intended as an instruction booklet on the
game of backgammon. There are many good backgammon books available
at any local bookstore. If you have at least a basic knowlodge of the
game you should have no problem with this version.
To play this version will require that you have either a EGA or VGA
graphics card and a microsoft compatible mouse.
When you first run the program CLICK LEFT MOUSE BUTTON on the
INFO block, this will provide you with all the information you will need
to play the game. Below is a reproduction of the INFO screen. GOOD LUCK.
INFO : This Information screen, PRESS RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON to EXIT
UNDO : Click LEFT BUTTON here to backup one move, This will work
Until the last move was made in this dice throw.
LEVEL : Click LEFT BUTTON here to SELECT LEVEL 1 or 2.
DOUBLE: Click LEFT BUTTON here when you wish to double the worth of the game.
The Doubling cube is in the upper left corner, when the cube is
all green, either player can double. When one player has doubled
the border on the cube will change to the other player's color
This player then has exclusive rights to the cube.

You will not be allowed to PASS if you still have a play.

A BOX in the upper left corner will be displayed with both yours,
and the other players count.
SOUND : If this is in WHITE sound is ON, BLUE sound is OFF.
HELP : If this command is in WHITE then markers are displayed when you
select a man to move. ie; if the dice rolled a 6 and a 2

For those of us who have trouble counting.
